Terms of Service

Plain language, no traps. If you use the site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using it.

Last updated 2026-10-15

1. The service

DevSnap provides free browser-based developer tools and written guides. The tools run on your device. We host the pages and the advertising that funds them.

2. Acceptable use

The tools are provided for lawful technical work. You agree not to use them to break the law, to infringe somebody else's rights, to attack third-party systems, or to generate fraudulent documents, forged credentials or deceptive material intended to cause harm.

Reverse engineering a tool's output for interoperability is fine. Using a tool to produce material intended to deceive a person or a system is not.

3. No warranty

The tools are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

They are utilities, and utilities can be wrong. A formatter can mangle a corner case, a regex engine can differ from the one in your runtime, and a date calculation can miss an edge. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it. This is a general statement of how software works, not an excuse for a known defect — if you find one, tell us.

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or of any tool on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Availability

The site is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, that every tool will always work, or that we will keep any particular tool at all.

6. Advertising

The site displays third-party advertising. We do not endorse the products or services that appear in those advertisements, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party sites you follow from an advertisement.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its name, its design and the text of its guides belong to DevSnap. The tools themselves are provided for use, and you are free to use their output for anything, including commercially.

Product names, logos and trademarks mentioned in the documentation belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

8. Links to other sites

We link to other websites where it helps. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their privacy practices or their availability.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
